Cigarette Lighter Socket

i dont have anything to test it out

but in a r32 gtr, is the cigarette lighter sokets always on?

even when the engine is off?

thinking of getting a gps hardwired into the car

No, the cig lighter comes on from ACC onwards.

You could have tested this by using the cig lighter itself.

No it is only switched on when the key is in ignition
