FRONT:

Inner Clearance: 22mm more (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)

Outer clearance: EXTEND an extra 60mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)

REAR:

Inner Clearance: 11mm less (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)

Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 53mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)

in short, you'd be mad to fit these wheels.

fronts doubt you'll get it to fit unless you run loads of camber and some guard work

rears some stretched tyres and lipped guards dont think you'll need to pull them if you run some camber?

OP, do not attempt to fit these wheels.

i run volk gtc's on my r34gtt

back is 18x9.0 +24

stick out maybe 5mm from the guard.

i forget what my front offset is, but they it flushish, so probably +29 or something?

but yeah dont even bothered trying haha

i looked at the offset guide and dont understand any of it. standard gtt rims are 17x7.5 +35 all round? i got enkie circulars and the fronts are 17x8.5 +35 with alittle dish and rears are 17x8 9.5 +38 with more dish than the front. if im looking to get new rims can i use the same offset or will i need a different on depending if it has less dish. whats a disc clearance type?

most people on this forum don't have the balls to make these wheels fit.

only put these wheels on your car if you're prepared to tuck stretched tyres under flared/rolled guards, lower the car till the rim almost touches the body, are prepared to spend a bit on adjustable camber and don't give a fuck about handling, tyre longevity, or the opinions of "race car drivers", ie most of SAU that doesn't know the difference between a visual style and practicality.

ie... this look:

otherwise, just pussy out now and save yourself the money and buy 8" wide wheels with +40ish offset that the pundits recommend, as nothing is gayer than some hero that claims "omgggg disssshhhh" but doesn't have the rest of the look down pat to make it look good.

my car is already that low now and i have 17x 9 on the rears and 17 x 8 on the front.

i just want to go up to 18s and i want gtc in gold

ill probs keep looking for a less aggressive offset as i need to drive evryday and far lol

why 19x10 in the rear or was that a typo.

rears should be ok with rolling of guard + some decent camber.

fronts will need a bit of work.

i had 18x9 +14 & 18x9.5 +13 with rolled guards and they stuck out,

they would've been flush if i had lowered it more and/or put more camber in both front & rear.

fitment looks good tho but it does require some work.

18x8.5 +35F and 18x9.5+35R sits just about flush with rears sticking out the tiniest little bit .. just to give you an idea. Unless you're prepared to extensively modify your guards incl. repaint them (as the paint WILL crack with the amount of flaring required) don't bother. Those are not GTT offsets.

are prepared to spend a bit on adjustable camber and don't give a f**k about handling, tyre longevity, or the opinions of "race car drivers"

Yeah in other words, if you're trying to impress randoms when your rock up Maccas, go for it. But on the downside you'll have to learn to live with a car that handles like shit, destroys tyres and is a cop magnet.

Edit: This will tell you how much the wheels will stick out ie. how much more/less outer and inner clearance you will have http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp ...it won't tell you however the effects on your suspension geometry/handling etc

i run 18 x 8.5 +30 / 18 x 9.5 +30 on a 33 and they didn't require much to fit at all.... the paint didn't crack as the guards only needed a roll not a flare. i also run the car @320mm centre to guard (pretty low)

bombtrack has the same offsets on a gtt and they sit just inside the guards, we rolled them to fit but it was even less work than mine

there is never a guarantee that the paint wont crack, but to fit those offsets you should be right.

the ones the op is talking about are however a different story...

i wasn't referring to paint cracking with such offsets/sizes ..like you said a simple guard roll would do, if that. With 18x8.5+35 and 18x9.5+35 you don't even need to roll the guard most likely. But with the OPs sizes/offsets he'll need to flare not just roll the guards ...extensive flare too ..which will cause the paint to crack.

anyone been to oran park today? I thought there was gonna be some nice pro comp ..but it was just newbs
