Could be a stuck relay - or it could be a stuffed thermostat.

Chances are you should get an autosparkie to check out your thermostat, as this switches the fan on via a relay when the temp goes beyond a certain point.

I'm lucky, my fan has been modified to be on all the time.

If your talking about the fan right upfront (outside of the engine bay), then it's normal for it not to come on.

That fan is wired up to only come on when the motor is over heating, or if the A/C needs it on (which isn't all the time).

I've never seen mine come on, even on 40 degree days.

From what I've read it's a safety fan which will come on only when your over heating. If you have over heated the motor and the fan didn't come on then it could be a faulty sensor. The sensor is mounted to the bottom of the radiator.

Are you still running the stock clutch fan??

Jay's right.

it's an emergency fan.

as in only comes on when there is a problem and is over heating.

I actually just connected it up so that it comes on when the air-con is on.

The clutch fan on the motor side is there for the cooling..

(I hate the clutch fan.... next time the clutch thing dies, I'm going twin thermo fans...)
