Hey guys, just wanna confirm for Pear what we raised We actually cleared just over $500, the main reason was the ground hire We got jacked pretty hardcore on the ground hire which was a bit unexpected, and quite a few people got lost or didn't arrive at the end which meant Youngcare missed out a bit on what our previous charities received. The club rounded it up to $1000 and that was sent in along with the event roundup done by Noel. Don't worry, no more paid venues, anyone wishing to be stingy or wanting to make a profit from US wanting to help out a charity is not worth our time and can stick it up their ass.

That's pretty poor that a venue that operates at night can't donate the use of their venue for a good cause during the day... Well done to the club for rounding up the donation! Hopefully next SCC we'll raise a nice big sum of money for the charities

we'll soon be on the hunt for a better venue to host SCC 2010 (hoping to keep it in August - a little cooler than prev years)
