considering swapping to an apexi pod but not unless I can sort out some sort of enclosure. I've found enclosures for sale but they are just simple boxes and have no CAI provisions

I've seen posts here of pod enclosures that make use of the stock snorkel for cold air intake .. does anyone sell such an item for an R34 GTT ? I need something that will fit with stock IC piping as I don't have a fmic and make use of the stock snorkel

not gonna bother trying to manufacture one myself because it'd take me ages unless someone has the right measurements etc already.

Ive never seen one with provisions for a snorkel... I just bought an alloy enclosure and I hear that the cold air from behind the head light is sufficient; its at least hidden away and not sucking in too much hot air from the turbo. Only way to get cold air intake would be to make an air scoop that runs from the factory SMIC air scoop and feeds the air from to bottom of the pod. I didnt go that far as you have to cut the metal and don't want hassels from police.

I've seen one of them on an R34 with the factory snorkel feeding straight into the pod enclosure ..just can't find the thread in question now. But I think it was custom made anyway..

Why not cut a hole in your box and feed it the factory snorkel or do you have a fmic and piping in the way now ??

i had similar problem, bought a CAI shield for my pod... and realised it didnt allow for stock FMIC piping

soo it started out cutting and testing and cutting and testing, but still turned out bad...

its very difficult to make, as the intercooler pipes pass through on an angle...and its not a perfect circle cut

i saw this recently... might help u in some way
