Stock as 258kW on the wheels - hmmmm, expected that to be a bit higher. 25% loss.

Actually i know of a few that have run up close to 260kw - depends on the dyno. What's important is the gain, and i believe they have since backed it up on another (much higher reading) dyno since as well.

+1.

Dynos differ but as long as you compare before and after on the same unit, the % gain is real.

Then you can go to the factory stated power of 357kw and add the percentage gain.

My car read max power at the wheels of 268kW on GTech ProRR at 1880kg before I put the Y-pipe on and 299kW after

That is a massive gain for no ECU upgrade, translating into 398kW at the crank.

I can imagine what the AP would do on top of that!

  • 2 weeks later...

I watched an R35 at an Eastern Creek (WSID) day today run 11.1 and 125mph with the RE Customs AccessPORT tune in it. This was a tune file as emailed by RE Customs, flash it in and bam 125mph.

Car has a mid pipe and was running full weight, stocker wheels and tyres.

125mph tells the story, GREAT work RE Customs.

I'll post up details later, perhaps some pics and video.

i am shagged right now, looong day!
