Gearbox oil

I have spoken to the guys at nizpro, and the oil to use is mobil synthetic gear oil....the only proble is how much do i need...i know that i have to fill untill it cimes out the indicator hole, but how much do i need to do this.

I used Shell Synthetic...it took just over 3 litres. Buy yorself a pump to fill it up with...makes life much easier :c)

i filled about 3.5 litres but i remember on a thread here, i was told 2.8 litres was the recommended capacity by nissan...

perhaps check with nissan or search the forums.

2.8L is for the RB20 gearbox.

i used redline today in mine and a mates car it is the best stuff gear changes are so smoth now would not use anything else

at work we use redline shockproof (blue stuff), i reckon its the best box oil, u WILL notice the difference, very easy and smooth gear changes, it comes as lightweight or heavyweight grade, light is for standard boxs and synchro gearsets and heavy is best for dog boxes and rear diffs

dont quote me, but i think its around a $100 and it comes in a 4L container, but it is well worth it
