resettting ecu

hey guys

me is gonna reset the ecu on my 32 gtst, becos bov is making my car stall like a bitch, umm i heard resetting the ecu might help it

so im gonna give it a go

but was just wondering

after i disconnect the battery and wateva

wat do i do ? do i drive it? if so how am i suppose to drive it?

help would be appreciated

as far as i know, disconnect batter and press the brake pedal a few times. will discharge all the power from the car. proceed with your own caution. hope it doesnt break anything

i do it all the time to my r31 GTS, its fine just make sure u fasten the battery again

yeh just disconnect the battery for a decent while......and then reconnect it, turn the car on, let it idle for a while and continue to drive normally and it should be all good. I'm not sure if its needs to learn anything, as something like fuzzy logic wouldn't be on the factory ecu?

what will that actually do? why do u need to reset your ecu if you don't mind me asking? and what do u gain from it?
