I saw a number of products at Repco that says it removes this and that, not sure if I can remember seeing one specifically for Tree Sap though.

Maybe try soaking it first for a while, get an old Rag, wet it with warm water (maybe the warmer the better) and just leave it on the sap and let it soak for a while, then try scrubbing it off?

Hope you can get rid of it, good luck.

Razor blade on glass is quite easy actually.

That is how carwashes remove stickers, etc from the windows.

It is not that hard, or subsequently take it to the car wash and get them to do it for you.

Razor blade followed by clay bar :)

Don't worry, it won't scratch your glass. Try and get those long thin razor blades that can sort of bend to the glass' shape. Once you've done that, simply follow up with clay bar to get it back to normal.

I've heard eucalyptus oil works too, but i haven't tried/seen it done.

Tried most except for the eucaliptus oil to no avail...got my side windows tinted this w/e and the guy doing them let me know that it wasn't tree sap but acid rain marks.

He recommended a clay bar and window cleaner for moisture....tried it and it kinda work, reduced some of the spots but not all of them. I guess i need to do it a few times to get a better result

For tree sap, i can tell you that hot soapy water works. I got it off my paint easily. Use almost-boiling hot water, and have the car sitting in the sun for a while before pouring it over the affected areas.

Then wipe it off with a soft cloth. You wont believe how easily it comes off. I tried metho and a host of other scary things. They didnt work.

    • Ducan , yeah sure mate , the unit is https://www.carlinkit.com/ambient TBox Ambient -  plugs straight into the USB C and it runs as a android  unit and you can link your phone to it via Bluetooth , but it only allows for one phone at a time. you can download and apk files you want and load it on there , I downloaded a basic maps apk (OsmAnd+ — Maps & GPS Offline) so I can run navigation without data usage , its not as good at google or wazes but it works fine for what I need. I can put up screen shots if you like. Cheers Pac

    • Currently advertised with some A4 flyers up at work for $30k ono Will detail it next week, and get some good picks for carsales, then put the cover back on and put it back on the tender until someone comes to look at it No real hurry to sell, in saying this I would like it gone with in 6 months as I am retiring in May 25 and lose the ability to store the car undercover in a secured site, plus as we are moving out of Sydney the potential buyers market will be more limited https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/485907-2002-vx-ss-commodore-30000-ono/
