Standard Compressor Wheel?

Hi all,

I've just removed the engine from my R33 for a rebuild and I was checking out my turbo. Does this look like a standard Series2 compressor wheel? I was under the impression that it was plastic (nylon?) but to me, this feels like steel.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

it is apparently supposed to the the part that links the compressor wheel to the shaft (if thats how it joins) thats plastic

and apparently on seriesII's if overboosted it separates

I still say its BS because there are not 2 different turbos listed on nissan parts catalogue

so how can we differentiate and say for sure. SOUNDS LIKE SERIES II ENVY TO ME

That comp wheel is the same as mine, my car is also the series 2 i was told that the standard comp wheel was of a twin fin design?i guess not!

it looks exactly like the one I have on my RB20. The guy who sold it told me it came out of an RB25.
