PowerFC and fuel pump.

Ok, I've discovered the ONLY annoying thing about the PowerFC. It operates the fuel pump in high speed/pressure mode even at idle. I'm sure this is only to improve off-idle response, but the difference isn't worth the annoying groan of the 044 pump at idle. When driving the pump is quiet, but at a set of lights it's just embarrassing! (and bloody annoying as already mentioned).

I've had a look through the Commander manual but I can't find anything to do with the fuel pump speed at idle. Does anyone know if such a setting exists?

My only other solution is to never get caught in traffic

mine is the same you can hear it priming even if you dab the pedal.
