PTC Heater...ok to turn off?

Hey all,

I was going to take the fuse out of the fuse box in the engine bay to diable 4WD in my R32 GTS-4, but upon looking at the fuse box cover, I saw that the fuse actually powers not only the 4WD but a thing called a PTC Heater.

Just wondering if I were to pull the fuse out and make it run in RWD, would I damage anything but not having this PTC Heater on?

Hope all that makes sense, and thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this...
