greenline australia and duty$$

Does anyone know if the prices on parts from greenline are all inclusive, or do we have to pay duty if they get pulled up at customs? is customs suposed to be taken care of by them in WA before it gets to us?

The reason i ask is some of my parts from them are being held at customs, and once i pay duty it seems theres not really much of a saving to be had, ontop of the usual long wait.

Has anyone else had a similar experiance where they ended up having to pay duty on parts ordered from greenline or similar companys??

When i got my turbo timer the price was inclusive, Ie the price you see is to your door.

u can usually get past customs by declaring as a gift and going through certain shippers ... ie dont' go through couriers .. u'll almost certainly get slapped with customs ...

for smaller items u can get away with it for items like a intercooler u wont.

u can still get away with it for intercoolers etc ... it all depends on how u declare it and who u go through for the shipping ...

I've just been told by Greenline that my Power Fc and Boost controller has been shipped today. Whats to go with this. I thought it was going to be deliverd to my house. Will customs take it and ask a bunch of questions?

if customs pull it up, you are up for duty. Don't send through post or you are more likely to get charged duty (I know a guy that works for customs). Nothing that you can do if they charge you. Either pay or they will sell your stuff at a customs auction.
