Help Power Fc

hey guys

i recently bought a power fc for my r33gtr however the car will not start. The car has a mines chipped ecu and the loom has been modified to run and air fuel controller and hks evc. i need to know if this would prevent the ecu from working properly (my guess is yes just need to confirm). the hand controller of the power fc is faulty as wen i plug it in i get the clicking relay noise decribed in the power fc Faq blog. help please

I'd check all the wiring on the loom. i used to run a mines ecu, ran perfect with the original wiring.

Just check closely for anything thats loose, its got heaps of wires there. thats my guess, otherwise the pfc might be faulty

yeah but it looks like mines has modified the loom as ive got an airfuel controller to thats hooked up to the ecu loom?

yeah if the PFC is making clicking noises either the wiring loom is mangled or the PFC is damaged

either way do a wire trace, identify any issues in the loom, correct them and restore it back

see if the car runs ok with normal stock ECU to confirm loom is ok, then try the PFC

yeah but it looks like mines has modified the loom as ive got an airfuel controller to thats hooked up to the ecu loom?

Oh yeh mine didnt have an afc on it, was just the ecu itself, so just have a real close look at the wires and let us kno how u go.

yeah it is weird i know the origianal loom has been modified for the mines ecu. the mines ecu works fine with the airfuel controller. the power fc only triggers the relay wen i plug the hand controll in, the hnad controll turns on but is full of black pixels. and the clicking relay sound comes from the boot not the ecu area? any good workshops u know of in brisbane that could check this out for me?

i bet the plug has banana'd when it was done up, make sure both ends are pushed all the way in not just the centre.

If it had a air controller on it the AFM wires will be intercepted, they will need to be found and rejoined.

thats what i thought, the airflow controller will have to be dissconnected and the stock ecu wiring found and rejoined?

This happened to me, i found out it was a fuse i was missing. The relay would click when i turned the ignition on. Mine was in a series 1 r33 gtst

yeah but my relay sound cmes from the boot? and only comes on wen i plug the hand control in? weird ay. anyways i got the power fc going into petroject Brisbane to get it serviced/checked out - needs new hand controll plug
