Under "Important Topics" above your thread, there's another thread called "Missfire Boost@4500-5500 RPM which tells you why taping up the coilpacks can lengthen the life of them.

I have a second-hand set which may be still suitable for an R34 NA that are 'taped & siliconed'. You are welcome to try them out to see the difference - but I'll need to check the specs of them when I get home from clinic (ie 10.30pm). They're off someone else's R34 GT-R and I keep them as spares.

Do you want any money for the coils?

With regard to the spares I have, you can come up the hill a bit, and "Try Before You Buy".
