Just bought a bride Brix seat and rail this arvo, i went into the dealership that i bought my car from, to get the lock nut key (they forgot to give it to me) and i saw a Bride brix seat and rail in the warehouse.

It is not in very good condition but it is complete with rail.

I asked how much they wanted for it and the guy said $100 (i was very surprised, and started to think they didn't know what it was worth) so i started to tell them that it was ripped and was missing some padding and told them i would give them $70, and after a while they agreed.

A Bride Brix seat and rail (the rail is off a s13 so only 3 of the 4 bolts line up) for only $70, im stoked!!!!!

Tell my why Bride seats are so good? Dealers ask prices for relatively shitty second hand ones that would buy you a new recaro or sparco seat, or a pair of cheaper ones like OBX's. Its bizarre. They don't even look to be especially good quality, maybe a bit better than say autotechnica but nothing flash?

bride are like the best seats .. i dont' have them but i've been in them ... racing style ... u won't be moving around in one of those .. what a steal!!

Bride are popular cos they are Japanese and so are the seat most commonly found in Modified Jap performance cars.

It's all in the name.

They are no better than recaros or sparcos (except they come in bright red )

Actually imho Bride Seats are more suited to the contours of the asian body as they are made mainly for the japanese, if u notice recaros or sparcos are a little wider at the wing area compared to a similarly sized bride....so hence you guys might want to reconsider which seat is actually a better fit......
