I need a set of coil packs urgently, is there any where is bris that will stock split fires for a 34 GTT on the shelf I can just go in and buy or is it limited to online?

really keen to get some this weekend so I can drive my car

i have some used ones you can have. I think one of them is dead so you need to figure out which one. But all 6 for $75. Otherwise your best bet would be http://perfectrun.jp/src/index.php I've used them before and other people have before so they are reliable and I've never seen anyone match their prices.

Heres a direct link to the page you need

I buy all my parts from RHDjapan, prompt service, fastest delivery, they send direct from japan with EMS can sometimes only take 5 days.

For reference I've used perfectrun and also nengun before also and I find RHD superior.

im running supersparks in my gtr and there great, one of my good friends was a major part in the development of them... www.superspark.com.au or www.importautoparts.com.au im pretty sure autobahn stock them now .. and there cheaper than spitfires. hes had them in 1000hp + cars without any troubles.

I actually have called him last week and he recommended superspark coilpacks although I have heard mixed things about them, another place I called said they stopped getting them because too many were getting returned and they went back to selling splitfire. Supersparks are still up around $500 so if I'm spending that much I may as well just get the splitfires and be reasonably sure they're going to last.

Autobarn are stocking splitfires now as well, the price tag was around $1000 so just as I was about to laugh and walk out the guy said he could do them for $750 which is OK for autobarn I guess.

But are the yellojackets any good????

so far so good. of all the guys that have used them, not one hick up. you can tell theyre good quality when you take them out of the box. and they work very well.

do a search. there's a thread somewhere on coilpack brands. plenty of good feedback for the yellow jackets. and from memory, they were about $350 delivered for SAU users!!!

steer clear of JJR coilpacks. have heard many bad reports on those.

super spark work well, have had mine in for about 3 months or so now, not a slight problem. perfect fit etc. Jamie from SuperSpark/Import Auto Parts will be able to field anymore quesiton im sure if u give him a bell he's a top bloke. $499 isn't bad price for brand new with 1 year warrety!

Go the Yellow Jackets. They are excellent. Ive had a set in my GTST for almost 1 year now and they have been faultless.

They come with 12 month warranty. Delivery was very swift from Performance wise and they are an excellent price for under $400

Ive heard lots of bad stories about the red JJR an superspark type so Id steer clear of them.

Heres a thread on SAU where people are comparing them - CLICK HERE

Seems to me that the Yellow Jackets are the winners here.

Get splitfires, don't arse around...oh an perfectrun have always sent me items really quick

I think a majority of people using the 'other' brands are finding they work perfectly fine as they're not using the internal transistor type coil packs that R34's use. With the R34 it's not worth cheaping out as who knows what quality of transistors and components have been used for the internal ignition system. Seeing that a few people have complained that the rubber boots start to melt and fuse to spark plugs, this alone would make me pick the splitfires.

My splitfires have been going strong for 4+ years
