Mark-32
1. 33 LCA or s14 same thing2. remove bump stop 2. 33 steering rack or s14 same thing 2. Gktech spacers some jap branded ones are bigger 3. Cut and shut steering rack 10-20mm forwards depending how game u are (corrects tie-rod angle) 4. DO NOT BUY NIGELS KNUCKLES - they are shit. 5. look into properly branded knuckles that correct suspension geomatry and dont f**k your ackerman. and u will have something like this... nigels knuckles aren't shit bro...... Looks to me like I got a shit load more lock than you, and thats running 17x10s +30. And the driverside wheel is touching castor rod on the inside, and when i put 25mm wheel spacers on that fixes that problem and it doesnt hit chassis rail or castor rod. Just needs a bit more gaurd work. I think you will find its the ackerman you want to correct, in drifing anyway, and as old mate said its not good to slander. Especialy when you dont know what your on about..... bubba
Question: just came across some "steering rack offset bushes".. are these designed to help alleviate tie rod angles when running tie rod spacers? i.e. like cutting'n'shutting the rack further forward? OR Do they serve some other purpose? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/283627-need-more-lock-on-r32/page/5/#findComment-5296119 Share on other sites
Habler
todd from SD, had powered by max, went to nigels and had more dramas, should of just kept the max ones. What dramas did your mate have exactly with Nigels knuckles? This is the first I have heard of anyone having issues. If you are going to say a blanket statement like that you need to explain why. I am one of many people extremely happy with them and also saved a lot of money thanks to them. mitchyo
To anyone who has had their knuckles cut and shut by Nigel, could you PM the approx price and time it took him etc please? Ive just got strengthened tie rods with spacers built in, Roll centre adjusted Tie rod ends, adjustable camber arms and new castor rods. Also ground down the steering stops. Running 8deg castor with 17x9 +34 rims with 225/45 tires and was scrubbing hardcore on the inside wheel arch along the chassis rail. Fixed this easily by bending up that small lip but now having slight problems with binding so thinking of going modified knuckles. Or maybe I could fit some offset rack bushes and this might fix it? Black R32
I contacted Nigel and he isn't doing R32 knuckles anymore. Dropped my knuckles off at JDI to have them modified. Will post pics when I get them back. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/283627-need-more-lock-on-r32/page/5/#findComment-6031316 Share on other sites

H@ME
Bring up old topics - I have an r32 grot set up for drift with the following mods. R32 rack Offset rack spacers Aftermarket pillow ball tie Rod ends Cut and shut knuckles R33 lca's Adjustable castor and upper camber arms Run -3 camber 8mm toe out Maximum positive castor I have achieved good lock but am hunting more - is it possible to add additional slip on spacers to the rack, can anyone confirm if r33 or s14 racks allow more travel/extension, therefore more lock? Cheers - Hame Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/283627-need-more-lock-on-r32/page/5/#findComment-7636993 Share on other sites
