Seller wants a fair bit more than that.

Car is virtually showroom condition

I am no expert on R31's but these machines seem to be up to $15k depending on condition. It has low kms and if it is in showroom condition it would be around that mark. Then again, in this current used car market who knows?

well i know of one with a 2JZ, and one with e fully kitted RB26dett... if its either of them.... buy it.

No nothing like that mate.

For a classic that will appreciate you need something stock that hasn't been mucked around with.

This one I just bought is stock as a rock

I told the owner if he ever was to sell the car could he let me have first refusal.

So 17 years later he rang me

It's a one owner car with log books and only 100,000 kms

But that something extra for me was the fact that it is numbered 001

I have seen a GTS1 with a factoryish turbo kit on it go for 7.5k, was in great condition, if it had an IRS rear I would of considered it myself

Is that VL-turbo factoryish, or rare-as SVD test-mule factoryish?

(And an Aussie GTS will never have IRS)

That a pretty special machine, and deserves to be treated with care!

Thanks for the comments guys

Finally got home from Canada/Alaska after a months holiday.

Car was sitting in my garage when I saw it for the first time.

OMG :)

I'm in love...this car is just like it rolled off the showroom floor.

Next day when I drove her I realised she was not just a pretty face as she drove like new as well.

Car came with 3 sets of logbooks as it was serviced by time not kms so the original logbook was fully stamped by 30,000kms.

Opening the bonnet was a pleasant surprise too...yes the engine bay is as clean as it looks

in 10 years it becomes officially vintage, theres only like 130-150 GTS2s left and its #1...

:)

I got a surprise for you "DriftGTS" vintage stopped in the 1920's and anything after that will never be a vintage car, but there will always be collectables like this.

Great buy Chris, if you can afford to hold on to it for the rest of your life it will be of grand value.

Cheers, D
