Do You Know What This Does?

hi,in the picture where i have circled in red i don't know what this is and don't know what the lower bottom hose is for?

the blue arrows are the hoses where we were gonna fit the manual boost controller but we don't know what to do with the lower hose circled in red as there is nowhere to stick it on the boost controller.

my mate in his series 2 r33gtst didn't even has that hose.

do i need that hose and what is it used for?

that thing is your standard boost control solenoid.

the bottom hose is where it bleeds off boost. you can get rid of that one.

the top hose plumbs back into your intake pipe. thats where the bled pressure would normally go. unplug it from the solenoid, and block the end of it with a bolt, and cable tie it off.

put your new boost controller between the blue arrows.
