Slight Mods To Rb25det Neo

Hey guys and girls i own a 2001 stagea rs4s with the rb25det neo 6, manual

recently got my black licence and want to up the power a bit etc. Mainly just wind the boost up a bit, a bov, front mount etc. Nothing too over the top as its a daily driver.

from wat i have worked out i need to retain a plumb back type bov so the sensors don't make the car stall etc.

and the computer sumhow controls the boost levels?

Any help would be with parts, prices etc would be great as i'm kinda new to the turbo and nissan scene having previously owned a commodore ute.

welcome, well first of all go a bigger exhaust (if the car doesn't already have one). don't bother changing the bov unless the stock one isn't working properly. it is just a waste of money and won't gain you any performance.

price wise, a full turbo back exhaust will set you back around $1000, depending on brand and material it is made out of. intercooler kits range from about $500 up to over $1000, again depending on brand. boost controllers range from about $30 for a good manual one to a few hundred for electronic ones, which unless you are running high boost i personally think are a waste of money.

after you get the basic mods done as said above (turbo back exhaust, intercooler, boost controller) maybe a z32 air flow meter and get a nistune done and youll be more then happy.
