Hi All,

The next SAU dyno day is to be held at SST on Sunday the 7th of December, and we'd like anyone from SilviaWA or any other jap import who wants to compete to join us. You will need to complete the form and pay $30 prior to the event to be eligible. We only have limited spaces so get in quick. We're expecting to kick it off at about 10:30. We'll be having a lunch break and will be running a sausage sizzle.

There will be trophies for Highest HP 2L, Highest HP 2.5L and Highest HP 2.6L or greater. There will alos be an exhibition class where we're hoping to have a few very high horsepower cars make an appearance:D

I just got a new clutch installed today, canna flog it for a short while....bugga!!!

Also I will come down to support and I will even pay $10 for steve to show me how to adjust my friggin bleed valve (sounds like a bit much, but thats how much I wanna support)

heck I dont mind still paying that $30 if steve will do me a power run later in the week or when I can clock up enough k's on the new clutch

i got sunburnt

good to catch up witha few peeps ....... stoopid sun burn tho :(

Thanks for cooking the snaggers Cam ..... big thank you to SST and Paul for organising and the people that came down and supported the event :grouphug:

No probs Niz - farkin hot job it was. I saw quite a bit of sun myself.

Good work by both the postwhore and the SST boys. And thanks to all those who came along.

    • Give the fluid a really good flush, then go do the same track again. Report back too please
    • I think most of the benefit there is really from the battery as well, having 1 kWh or so means you don't need the engine running at idle to run the AC, when the battery is depleted you can run much higher idle to charge the battery at a lower bsfc point and then shut it back down, you can regen on braking to recover some of that power too. I can't imagine the benefit from only running the compressor as much as needed is huge if you're mostly only running the AC on hot sunny days where it really needs to work hard to keep interior cabin temp under ambient.
    • Yeah, unless you're doing it by the book, your data is probably not useful. Boiling point drops rapidly with only just a little water in it.
    • How hard are you tracking it? I have 378 in front and 355 in the back with decent pads and my brakes were spongy after a decent session with lots of braking. It was a short track though but got up to around 190-200 max. be keen to hear. Mind you, I havent flushed my fluid so thats probably part of reason.
