if you want someone to have a look with you your best bet is to find a couple of cars you like and see where they are then let us know on here to see if someone is close to it so we dont have to go far out of the way to help you, i am happy to help i live 5 minutes from the city so anywhere around here send me a PM.

also might be worth getting an RAC check as well on the car.. mine was fairly helpful

RAC would be your best bet, otherwise look around at everything and if anything looks suss get someone in the know to look at it.

Like Rhys said a good old RAC check is always a decent idea.

And if it is a private sale and the owner doesn't mind alot of workshops will check the car out for a fee if the car is brought to them.

Thanks for the response and help guys, current mechanics are more than welcomed lol. There's a lot of hate towards the RAC checks saying that if they were only good for normal cars like the getz. Anyway, PMs sent to you 2 who offered! hopefully we can work something out.

Btw, i did a REVS check on the car, it said:

This vehicle or vessel is not recorded on REVS. It does NOT have money owing on it.

now is that a good thing or a bad thing to not be recorded on REVS?
