Yea but did he like use anyhting to hold it there?? Because it cant be moving around it has to be fitted!!

If you buy a a fire extinguisher that is made for a car it will come with bolts and a frame , just bolt it down. Thats what ive done.

Dude, there has been a Zillion, yes 1 Zillion thread about this - use the search function.

For an R34 GTT use the bolt that holds the back seat to the floor pan on the passenger side foot well. Undo the bolt, make a hole in the bracket if there is not already one and bolt it on there, you can reach it from your drivers seat unless you're a mega short ass. This will work as I had mine mounted there for track days.

If the fire extinguisher you have does not have a bracket don't waste your time. Go to Kmart or Autobarn and pick up one that comes with a bracket, they are cheap.

Zing!

buy one with a bracket. search for extinguisher in the motorsport section. there are plenty of threads on there about how to do it. also the extinguisher must be over 1kg dry powder type and must have a METAL bracket.

No, the fire extinguisher has to match a certain standard for CAMS, check the CAMS website for details, its a fairly common standard...and it MUST have a metal bracket to be ok for CAMS (from memory).
