is his name chris because i swear he show me that car before and great condtion for the first gtr the exhurst manifold colour hasnt peel off yet suggesting that it hasnt been drive hard

Yep thats the Guy.. As I said he only imports quality.. He is in japan bringing the car over as we speak.. Will be here in less 2 weeks and ready in 3..

Those Of you that are still tyre kicking you are running out of time.. you wont get a better deal.. You will make money on this car just by buying it and reselling!

mate have you thinking of putting in papers because the cheapest one on tradingpost is 30000 so 25000 is very resonable

As soon as the car arrives.. the opportunity to get it at $25000 will be gone..

You are 100% correct, these car are selling everywhere in papers for 30-34 000K. just look at redbook.com, I would get more than 25000K if I traded it.

I cannot afford to keep 2 cars.. I have to sell one.. In fact If I dont get a buyer for one soon I am going to have to get a bank loan to finalise my GTR payment.

As Junkie13 says.. This guy does only get in great cars! And if it doesnt sell then I will just take it townsville and sell it in the local rag, and as pointed out.. I will be asking 30000K. The 5K price drop is just an incentive as there is always a bit of risk buying a car you have not seen.. but I think saving 5K should cover that!.

Chris also has indicated that if the car is not up to scratch (which I know it will be) your deposit will be refunded fully...

Hence we have no risk!

Check out the photos, let me know soon.. The car is ready in 3 weeks..

I have just been speaking to the importer.. he is now back in OZ and he has indicated that the price to buy GTR R32 is skyrocketing in Japan due to the 15 year rule coming into play this year.. (as much as 50%)

This is just a warning that you will most likely be paying more now as the demand on these cars has increased..

just a heads up..

Dont reply unless you are talking about the car- and keen to buy!

Keen to sell is the same reason everyone needs to sell.. I am right now in $25K debt because I bought it..

Dont care whether it is the skyline or the Eunos that sells but I want to get out of this debt.. Leaving to america soon!

All the mods I have on this car Are listed on the Web site..

Other than that the car is pretty close to standard, but in immac. cond.

It does however now have 18" wheels..

At the moment I have someone in Sydney inquiring about finance.. If he falls through the car will be coming to Townsville..

I have no probs takling it to cairns either!

Car is in country Thurs. Available 1 week.

what is the going price, still 25g? idunno weather to buy this or way a few months n import one myself for like 17grand, how much rego comes with the car 6 or 12 months

Car Is still being sold as best offer above 25K.. will not be going below that....

The car will be sold with no rego.. If it arrives unsold, obviously I will register it to get it to townsville.

As mentioned there is a guy in Sydney awaiting finance approval.. he has first dibs.. should know by tomorrow..

I have my doubts as to whether GTR's will be available for 17g in the future.. Due to this 15 year rule there has been a huge demand recently and they are boosting there prices accordingly..

Will post update on potential sale tomorrow

Dear Pipes I am Interested in the GTR

But I Just wanted to know if this is a Legit Deal

You say the car is 1989 Model

How could you import a 15 year old without waiting for the manufacture date

Or If your friend is bringing it from japan He must have owned the car for 12 months Minimum

Than again as soon as the car comes down here you can not sell it straight away as it is under your frinds name & He will have to Hold on to it for further 12 months in Australia Before selling it

I am just a Bit confused

If you tell me the truth I could be the Right Buyer

Thanks

PM Sent.

To clarify- It is legit.. relevant docs sent to you explaining scenario. (too long to post)

People please pm me if you have questions regarding 15 year rule etc.. I have cleaned this thread up twice already as people always want to argue about crap!

    • Is there a significant price difference between the Evo/gtr/350z brembos vs the F50? Looks amazing.
    • I was actually being a tightarse at the time LOL... My OCD is tickling me into running a 2nd 8AN Teflon hose all the way down and removing the 2x OEM hardlines. My other side of my brain is telling me to run 2x hardlines front to back (also acts as a fuel cooler, so win win).
    • As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had some trouble with the Silvia's brakes dragging back in 2023. I managed to sort it out then, but the same problem came back to bite me late last year. Just take a look at the picture – I had a feeling the handbrake was acting up again, and I was right. Anyway, I'd been wanting to upgrade to bigger brakes for a while. Not that the Silvia's brakes were bad, but it was more of a "want" than a "need", you know? It was funny, though – at the time, I couldn't find any Evo Brembos, 350Z Brembos, or GTR Brembos for a decent price (of course, tons of them popped up online after I already bought my kit!). I ended up going with an F50 Brembo kit, which came with adapters, brake lines, 330mm rotors, and top hats. The F50 Brembo caliper was used in a few other cars too, like the FPV. I also decided this was the perfect opportunity to ditch the Silvia's ridiculous rear brakes and that awful handbrake (some of you were definitely right about that!). I picked up some R33 calipers and all the necessary bits – rear drums, backing plates, and new hardware to refurbish the calipers. Of course, it wouldn't be a project without a few hiccups. Turns out the brake master cylinder was playing up and basically (to put it simply) keeping the brakes engaged. I had it overhauled, and after some adjustments, everything was working again. The whole process took a while, as you can imagine. To top it off, the front right wheel bearings were shot and needed replacing too. This is a rare occasion where I'm posting an update while it's all still fresh! These pictures were taken just this afternoon.
    • I was just going to say that it's good to see you picking up the pace again. Hope the surgery goes well. More downtime just means more time to come up with new ways of digging a deeper rabbithole
    • How do they compare in size? I have the Yaris coil packs in mine and they work fine. But they are either bigger or sit differently so the engine cover doesn't fit anymore. Not the end of the world but not great either. Do the R35 ones sit flush?
