Lowering My Teins

Hey guys,

My coilovers simply cannot be adjusted. Is there any way of getting around this to lower the car? I was thinking, if the big nuts im trying to turn could just be smashed off and new ones fitted?? Am I better off just selling these and getting another set of coilovers that arnt jammed?

Please dont bother giving me suggestions of how to un-do the nuts as I have tried everything. Even had the damn coilovers out and on a vice trying to turn them with a 2mtr long braker bar after having sprayed them with lubricant and heating the thread with an oxy

Holy shit that's rare. I guess cut it on both sides, pry it apart and order some new nut things from tein.

my teins are the same.. u have to take it to a tein service center, like fulcrum, they have to do a service on them, they heat them up... drain the oil..... they reseal them and adjust it to what u want...

good luck man....

cost me bout 350 for the two front.....

Assuming your using the right tein tools and that isn't working? I'd Just take em to Fulcrum and tell em you can't adjust them can they see why and maybe if they can adjust them for you?

No harm in trying?
