Z32 Ecu Wiring Drama

ok so i got a cima with a z32 motor in it, and im sure ive wired it in right. bar fuel pump (constantly wired on for now)

no problem is i have no spark and possibly no injectors. i have power and earth and both injectors and coil packs, also have power at CAS too, but my main question is, when i turn the key to ON the ecu red led comes on, and stays on constantly, then it went out when i tried to crank it, so i thought i had power loss, wired the ecu to the battery directly and it stayed on but still not starting.. now the ecu pin outs i have used are from a vg30 and rb20, both have identicle pinout diagrams except the rb20 one is abit more detailed. and i have read the vg30 ecus can be used to run

RBs. so im assuming most things would be the same,. now can any one tell me what i should check? im asuming there has been same thing with wiring a 20 in a s13, so let me know if you can suggest something to check, really starting to bug me,

SOLVED! black wire with a red strip, needed 12v from ign to tell ecu to turn on. thanks anyway

So, it cranks, but won't fire?

Which ECU are you using? I believe that the RB and VG engines have a different firing order.
