R33 Gtst Series 1 Ecu In Series 2

hi, i remember a thread goin around about this but i cant find it

just want to know if an r33 gtst manual series 1 ecu will work in a manual series 2? and if a series 2 will work in the series 1?

its just some people say the ignitor for the series 2 is in the ecu, some say they are in the coilpacks themselves...

can anyone clear this up for me before i by an ecu...

The ignitor is in the coil packs on the S2.
