As for playstation2 games...best thing on the market to back up your games....ALCOHOL 120%.....check it out.

As for DVDs

Xcopy Platinum is the way to go for easy of use.

CloneDVD Can now do the same as Xcopy.

DVDShrink-it will do just that as well as basic re-authoring.

IFOedit and other will allow for more changes to movies...etc.

Also for DVD mastering Gear Pro 6.05 is great.

Thats my 2cents

I've used TmgEnc DVD Author to make my DVD compilations of simpsons Season 14 (which I recorded off TV :D) seeing as I have season 1,2 n 3 box sets I just used VirtualDub to rip the screen, then reauthor a new DVD with those screens. Its so painlessly simple, other that's are almost as easy are DVD-Lab and Adobe DVD Author.

I thought all Alcohol 120% did was mount ISO's as virtual drives, not actually rip, uncopy protect and create ISO's of PS2 DVD's.

actually i think you're wrong about being able to backup your movies ... if you were in america then yes you are legally allowed to do that .. but i dont' think you are protected by the law in australia, different laws i was told ... but australia is pretty small fry compared to whats happening in the world ...

Correct :D
