Need Help With Springs

Hi folks,

My GTT came with jic coilovers from japan, stiff as rock.

Does anybody know if i could just change the springs to softer one's instead of getting a new

set of coilovers?

just sell those as a package...someone will take them for their track car more than likely. And then you have many options .. you could always get stocko nissan shocks/springs for next to nothing (I sold mine for $100 and they were not leaking)

sell springs & buy new springs

places that sell coilovers & suspension places can get coilover springs for you.

what kg/mm are they? i might upgrade my front springs are they might be a bit too soft for me.

i believe mine are 7kg. (only if you are in syd)

if it's a coilover kit the shocks are probably matched to the hard springs ...so changing to softer springs wouldn't be ideal

changing to slightly softer springs is okay (ie: 8kg to 7kg) nothing major.

just to update this thread i was told by a professional suspension plc that i wont be able to change just the springs on the coilover setup...

and i need to replce the whole thing
