looking for a part number for ngk platnums so i can order them from motor traders. Is heat range 6 what im after for rb25 stock internal running big turbs mild boost?

You'd be best off using coppers because fancy iridium / platinum plugs are gonna last the same amount of time.

get a heat range 7 if getting coppers

yeah go with the copper plugs. BCPR7ES are the ones you want. should be about $4 each, available from pretty much any auto parts store. just change them every 10,000kms or so.

i'd go heat range 6 not 7, they were too cold and looking at them when I pulled em out yesterday they hadn't even heated up enough to self clean (my plugs foul to the shithouse anyway, but there wasn't even a clean spot right on the electrode with the 7's).

ive always used platnums so iknow no different but by the sounds of it copper plugs are just as good for half the price.

Changing ever 10k is no biggie.

Only con I'm aware of is if you're running the standard plenum/intake pipe.... means they're a bit of a kunt to get to

obviously there is no difference for access between the two so i asume you mean to replace so often which also is no hassle as i am runnig a greddy copy plenum.
