Does his car have a stock 1/4 mile time in the 13 second range? No?

Neither does an R33?

Savin - are you saying the guy has both a Civic and an Integra or are you just trying to get a Honda vs Skyline thing going on? If its genuine, what does the Honda have done to them? Overall I'd lean towards the Skyline as having the advantage but it is potentially close enough it could depend on driver and mods

I think a hyundai excel would be the fastest out of the 3 :S ..... this is the stupidest question ive ever seen. The difference would be minimal completely depends on the driver. Just go to the strip and have a run.... just don't lose as you will never live it down hahahaha

A stock R33 does not, BUT one with:

i have a mate that wants to test it with me....spec= stock turbo, full exhaustt system, running on 10psi...And his car is merely a brand new integra type s and a civic type r

Does.

Not being quick to assume, just think these types of questions are pointless

not enough information, too many variables etc etc

I'm sure the OP has probably driven with and/or been in his car and his mates car at some stage. im no scientist but i'll have a stab and say that will give them an idea on what to expect.

maybe their gonna race at the strip and hes just looking for an idea on what to expect. dont be soo quick to assume cowboy
mate.. my stock gtst beat my mates Integra dc5r.. he had a few mods, still raped him like a goose. Reason why he sold his car.

Got video and/or time slips? Sounds unlikely unless he can't drive and you are a ninja.

i wouldn't be sooo sure about that. IF it was a DC2R then i would think you would have a real challenge and the S2000 is a bloody quick LITTLE car. stock for stock it would be quite close. they are very lightly little cars at the end of the day.

The big problem with the Hondas, is they struggle BADLY above 80 - 100KM/h

They're quick off the mark, and through corners, but struggle above 100KM/h when stock.

LOL thats almost the opposite of my experience, FWDs are a bit disadvantaged as the weight is shifted off the driving wheels under acceleration and all the power is in the high end of the rev range - making them not that well suited to drag racing.

Here is the closest I can get, a JDM S14 Silvia (which are very comparable with R33 GTS25ts) against a JDM Type-R Integra, stock for stock. The Integra is only a 1.8litre version, the DC5s running the K20A make more power and torque stock, have better gear ratios and respond ridiculously well to modifications for an NA motor which already makes good power:

I dont think thats true.. hondas aren't that great off the mark(except s2000) because they are FWD and those with powerful fwds will know what im talking about.

i know this is a lil off topic but my mate has a STOCK b18 crx and my skyline with a few mods would eat his dust over 100kms, but has it over him at the take off.

as for your question, i beleive the skyline will win. The civic type R is not too much lighter than the r33 and wont have nearly as much power, i beleive they make 125-130fwkw in stock form and correct me if im wrong an r33 with the mods listed would make around 150rwkw?

Out of the Honda's I've driven, they're just DEAD once you're out of 2nd gear...

1st gear, nice and short and snappy, 2nd gear not too bad... 3rd... just wayyyyyy too tall...
