Blown head gasket

I've taken the head off, does anyone know where I can get it checked out/ planed?

just about any engine recon place should be able to shave it for you....same with the vacumm test, dont know about the gasket tho.

haha Simon it was the RB20 in my car.

I'm hoping Jules can take it to a head reconditioner today and I'll attempt to refit it on the weekend. I managed to get new gaskets so thats all good.

Just have to clean the coolant and shit out of the cylinders

not sure how it happened exactly mate, I took it to the drags on Friday and ****ed up the clutch so came home after only 2 runs. Then drove it around on the weekend... all good.

Then Monday morning my brother was dropping me at work, and only 2 streets from our house lots of white smoke appeared. He wasn't gunning it or anything. So yeah probably caned it on the Friday

I've pulled it all apart now and I've found a place to get my head done in Ossie Park so I'm hoping the head is there now

Working during the week makes it so hard to get shit done!!
