Can you give any details about the condition of said cooler? Any major dings, what R series GT-R was it fitted to? Has it been flushed (ie. much oil vapour inside)?

Cheers

Brendan

I'm sorry if this contravenes forums rules... Moderators, please feel free to do what you will to to this post.

But I feel that this is not an HKS intercooler. It is unlike ANY HKS intercooler in their current range... It's a different design, and all current range HKS intercoolers are polished.

I may be wrong and this may be an older HKS release, but I guess I just don't want anyone to buy this as an HKS intercooler if it isn't one.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Merli---> This intercooler is on its way from japan as we speak, and you need to remember that there were a hell of a lot more intercooler models released in japan, then the rest of the world ever saw. Now I am going on information given to me by one of my japanese suppliers, and he hasnt let me down yet.

I think we can safely say by looking at it, that is probably isnt in their current range. By looking at it, it is probably a few years old. This in no way hampers its condition, and just means it is probably an older model.

I really dont appreciate you thrying to say that this isnt HKS, when I have clearly stated previously that it is.

and I have no reason to say a product is something that it is not. If I did, then my business wouldnt last very long, and I would not be able to continue to sponsor the Skylines Australia Forum.

Kristian,

I realise that you wouldn't appreciate my post. That's obvious. But please realise that it isn't a malicious post to try and stop you from your sale.

Rather, it is a post to try and stop somebody buying goods that aren't as advertised. We've had issues with people selling "HKS" or "NISMO N1" turbos on here before that have turned out (after some investigation into A/R ratios and photo evidence) that they were standard turbos. Can you imagine if you had bought those turbos under false advertising?

As I said in my post in this case, I AM NOT SURE, and this intercooler could very well be from an older range, but it is most definitely not from their current lineup.

Secondly, All HKS parts I have seen have HKS cast into the part, whether it be on the dump pipe, intercooler end tanks, exhaust, etc... Is this stamped/cast with HKS?

If this genuinely is an HKS product, you should be able to prove it (easily, since you are a business and all, and have access to much more data than the average bloke) and this thread can move on without any drama!

Cheers,

Andrew.

Not trying to start a biatch fight here and you seem to be bringing some good deals to the forums, but according to forum rules, shouldn't you be posting in the business section?

Merli---> It is a HKS 3 layer intercooler. It is currently in transit from Japan, as I stated earlier. When it gets here, I will take a photo of the HKS stamp on it.

It is quite simple. If someone buys it, and I deliver it to them, and it isnt HKS, they get their money back.

Excellent!

Thanks for not being a d1ck about this...

Hi Kristian

Wonder if you can give me a run down on it's condition now. Photos aren't quite big enough. Or is it best to wait for it to land? BTW, what's the ETA and what sort of $$$ to have shipped to Perth?

Thanks

Brendan

It is in good condition, no it hasnt been flushed, shipping to perth would be around $45. ETA, hopefully the container gets here, and unloaded before the docks shut down for christmas. otherwise, it will be first week in January.
