Gday wanting to get a bit of advice.

I recently rebuilt the entire head on my R33. (snapped a cam shaft clean in half)

We were worried that one of the valves might have gone through the piston head so decided to not risk it and pull the whole head off and see. Did that and realised that clearance was way to far and valve didnt come anywhere near piston head. Anyway had the head off so i decided to rebuild the whole head. Got some heavy duty cam shafts, cam gears etc etc etc. All this rebuild stuff was done by a mechanic specialising in Rb25 heads.

Anyway now that the head is built and put on after the car has heatened up a bit once i get into boost its like she is just cutting out. exactly the same as when you would your boost controller up too high and kinda flood the engine.

was told that its most likely my coil packs had crack in them and electricity was spraying into the head causing a shirt to happen. It made sense so i got them all tested and they all came back A grade.

Now i am told that my HKS EVC might be the problem- i checked this and it did look like some hoses were hooked up wrong, i fixed these ( i think) and problem seems to be ok. I havent driven the bastards for a long period of time however as im getting it ready for a show.

Has anyone got an opinion on this.

help me out guys- i hope ive fixed it but im not 100 percent sure.
