Putting the "skyline" back in skyline

Didn't take it off.. just did it on the car. I think you can take them off, but you have to remove some boot trim and get in from the back.

i was driving around adelide and notice somthing totally differant about every R33 there. during the night when my lights are on i have and aqua/blue glow comming from the skyline bit on the back. it doesnt spread across the hole clear pannel. the light comes out in the perfect shape of the skyline lettering. ill try get ya some pics tonight to show ya what i mean.

anyone else got this.

redback; paint the insert and sandback the skyline logo and put neons

at the back will gint you that result

Hmmm been lots of threads on plastic painting etc lately

i think there needs to be a sticky on how to paint interior plastics.. brakes and other bits and pieces

Its all been covered in various places and threads on here, its just a matter of finding it all. Check VIC forum, we all got into it at one point

on the topic of the silver "skyline" - I've found its amazing what a difference it makes to the overall appearance of the rear end. Makes the whole back of the car look much newer than the years show. Looking at many other 33 around, and seeing how faded the majority are - having a shiny "skyline" silver is great. Its one of these things you think "man, glad i did that - it was worth the effort"
