I've got a JJR stealth cooler. Fitment was really not very good, but easily overcome with a bit of know-how.

My only problem is that the lower return pipe sits quite low to the ground and cops the odd scrape now and then.

If you can afford/find a Blitz one, BUY IT.

jjr stealth coolers are good a little bit of mucking around to make them fit and make sure your pipes dont blow off under high boost but worth the work for the price and also if you end up wrecking the bottom pipe prety cheap to order the piping kit from Just jap, all the reuturn flows tend to sit low the bottom pipe

that is an awesome product at an awesome price!!

I used to have a BLITZ LM and it was a fantastic cooler paid $1400 @ Autobarn back in the day

You would be crazy to go past one of these if your going to keep the car fairly stock

$1400! Woooah. I got mine for $1000ishNZD delivered from Nengun last year.

Id settle for the "shiny" Blitz if it was around then for this price!

take acouple of front shots so we can all see

Whilst I'd originally read that the Avo would fit without cutting the reo, their response indicated no. I'd also heard rumours / forum posts of the same with regards to the Blitz and Trust options ... but then other people say no..

I'm honestly getting the impression there isn't a single front-mount intercooler on the market (obviously there's always the custom approach) that will fit back to factory pipes and not require reo cutting. Given the insurance / defect issues with cutting the reo, I'm both stunned and frustrated by the situation. Is it such a big thing to ask for? :D

Damn you bastards to hell. I was all set to go for a Cooling Pro Stealth, after seeing the positive response everyone had for it, and now I'm in two minds about that and the Blitz cooler. Someone make a decision for me.

BLITZ! Its a no brainer.

Seriously, it will be so much more worth it in the long run :thanks:

Ok well when i said about getting a good cooler that requires no holes cut yer i rather cut a hole then the reo thats for sure so now im probley gunna be stuck in a sitituation where if u want a front mount u cut the reo unless u want a ugly looking front mount.

hmmmm so where to go now if im going to have to cut reo i might aswell get a front mount that has pipes both sides.

So.. what your saying is that you DONT want to cut anything, but if you have to, you will cut two things?

Sounds like a cop out to me :(

Pretty much every decent sized FMIC need the reo trimmed slightly. Its just the way they are.

i was looking at the pwr one when i originally bought my car. about 1k for the cooler by its self, only reason i didnt buy it was because i couldnt get a proper idea of fitment (nobody knew how they would fit and modifications required to do so). shame about having to trim the reo, looks like ill be keeping my smic until i find something that doesnt require insurance voids/engi certs.
