carlo
Hey all. I want to give these bendix brake pads a go. (I nuked my rb's at the track yesterday) So my question is What are the part numbers for skyline r33 gts-t bendix ultimates front and rear. Because I called my mechanic and his supplier said they dont do ultimates in gtst only metals and premium. Endorean
Hey Carlo, Have you checked out www.discpads.com, I'm pretty sure they will stock them. If you have checked them out, then please disregard =) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/28684-bendix-brakepads/#findComment-592630 Share on other sites
carlo
Just checked it out it has skyline gt-r 89 onwards. Is that the same as r33 gts-t? Says the model is DB1170 Front DB1220 Rear Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/28684-bendix-brakepads/#findComment-592655 Share on other sites
Endorean
I cant remember if it was discpads, but I recently enquired about upgrading the rotor on my R33, I'm sure it was Discpads. I'll check tonight and let you know, perhaps e-mail them or call them and find out. Bleach1
I have a set of Ultimates sitting right here waiting to be fitted to my r33 for when the urge to head to the track gets to strong. Exact part numers for ultimate. front: DB1170 ULT Rear: DB1220 ULT Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/28684-bendix-brakepads/#findComment-592803 Share on other sites
mist
Bendix Ultimates are ok if you don't plan to brake very hard... on the track they are useless after 2 laps. even the cheapest Endless pads are 10x better........ franks
id have to partly agree with that, ultimates are good for performance street, but probably not the best for track - would be worthwhile for the extra $'s to get RB74's... carlo
Yeah I think I will use the bendix on the street and swap out the front brakes for track days with the RB's. Just that RB's on the street squeal to much. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/28684-bendix-brakepads/#findComment-592885 Share on other sites
red900ss
Carlo, don't muck around. Get a set of these pads: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...880&postcount=6 Remember when we were rapidly approaching turn 2 and I hit the anchors and you said something like, "whoa! what brakes have you got in this thing???" Ferodo DS2500s With the club discount at RaceBrakes and the use you'll give them it'll be money well spent. Duncan
Hey, be nice to em, I use the bendix ultimates on the track. Nice and cheap, good enough to stop a slow skyline like mine. benm
Carlo my RB74's didn't squeel at all until RaceBrakes accidentally got some Caliper paint on the rotor/pad and now the rears squeel their tits off at times before that I never had RB74's (Comp2's on the rear).
