Charles89
Hmmm... The headlights lens from R33 and R34 are not glass.... That's why they get murky, because of the UV on plastic... As for fixing leak and stuff, there are headlight places out there that would do that. It is somewhere between $150-300 per pair. They would pull it apart, even polish/cure/recondition it for you, then seal it back together so it looks brand new. I had mine done and now they don't even turn yellow anymore. 1R34SON
I'm curious to know your technique using autosol? I did the whole 2000 wet and dry then polish like hell with meguirs plastx - don't think my results were as good as yours.. I apply a small finger nail sized amount to small section, and with one or 2 fingers under a terry cloth ill rub nice and hard in circular motion. I repeat until ive done the whole headlight then get a clean buffing cloth and buff that baby out! - As u apply the autosol u should rub hard enough to feel the roughness coming out. Buff it well as the autosol can be stubborn to come out with a dirty cloth. Goodluck! Charles89
hi charles, who did you use to get this done? Got it done by a mob near mine, in Vic. They charge $150 ea, but they do an absolute awesome job! It seems like they refurbished it so well, that it's like brand new, and they don't go yellow anymore, AT ALL!
