My black r32 gtst was stolen about 5 am this morning outside my house in hurstville.

my dad said he herd some car doing laps outside and went outside and saw a car the same type as mine driving around, so went back to bed, about 10 min later mine was gone.

it is a black r32 gtst. rego BB91SX

things that make it noticable

no wing on bootlid black acylic paint over the boot in patches where i modified the boot to suit a gtr wing so not shiny.

silver bonnet rubbed back for painting so not shiny with a few black spots where i rubbed threw the paint

both front gaurds dull colour as there been prepaired for paint

DAMAGED PASSENGER SIDE OF CAR (big hit from just after the front wheel to just before the back. so the door and gaurd are stuffed and the rear 1/4 has some damage)

clear front indicators

front mount

gtr rims

anyone sees it please call or sms 0448276141

from the description of the 'uniqueness' of the car and the fact its an R32 GTST makes one wonder what the f**k would anyone steal it for ... risk jail for a banged up skyline that's pushing 20 ?

I'll keep an eye out for ya around newtown but I'm sure it's being chopped as we speak ..car like that would attract way too much attention to be on the road.

3rd party fire and THEFT???? I'm almost 100% sure (definately for all the insurance companies i used) that they wont cover it if your going to admit you didnt have an australian standards immobiliser....

if i were you right now i'd conveniiantly say nothing about its security and hope it either comes back in one piece/ or never comes back at all, depending on your insurance wording...

hope it comes back to you in the way you left it the night before it went walkabout

Best news about a stolen liner in recent times... great to hear mate, when you get the car back please throw in something to stop these joy riders from wasting your time and having sleepless nights lol.

Sounds like it was a punk kid with a screw driver lol

    • Hi there, after a quick google search I found this topic as I am also relocating the battery to the boot of my 1998 GTT. I was just wondering how you got on with installing the re-routing and specifically the installing of the harness protectors? How do they attach? Are they just a simple "click-in" affair, or do they attach with bolts? Does the GTT have all the necessary fixing holes for them, for example, where they locate on the chassis? Any help you can provide would greatly appreciated.
    • Thanks mate, yeah I've heard that alot and i am definitely regretting using the 25 Loom now, i have gone through and traced all the plugs from the 20loom and re wired them into the 25 loom, I have currently got Crank, Fuel and accessory's working, just need to finalise the loom and run the wire for the Ignition (Spark) and it should be running, will update if i have any luck.
    • Cheers lad, when I head over there I'll give it a shot.
    • Stock less likely to carry one like that than urethane, but still can, especially if the bolts are not as tight as they should be. If it's making that much noise you should be able to use a hose as a stethoscope> stick one end in your ear, crouch down and wave it around the various possible noise makers and get someone to lift the front end at the guard lip.
    • Broken actuator rod. Could be one of a couple of them broken. Or, it's locked and the central locking actuator is broken/stuck or the actuator rods between it, the lock and the key barrel are jammed or broken similarly. You'll probably need a locksmith/mechanic who is experienced with using slim tools to reach down next to the window glass to manipulate the mechanism. That's assuming that it is not so severely jammed/broken that nothing useful will move.
