I know this has been done to death, but I have searched and couldn't find anything conclusive so here goes.

I'm looking at buying the JJR gears (in & ex), my problem with these is that they're made in China. I don't want to use the bolts they supply...

I'd be looking at some high tensile ones, but which? What are the measurements?

Also, an aftermarket timing cover would be on the cards too to allow for adjustments without having to rip the cover off everytime. Where could I source one of these?

Thanks.

Stainless have a lot higher tensile strengths than regular bolt and they also won't rust. If you decide to go for an allen key head make sure that you go for cap head and not button heads as the mating section on the button heads aren;t deep enough and you will go through a number of sets in a dyno sessions as they strip. My brother and i went through all this while developing adjustable gears for CA's
