Im based in Victoria so please dont PM if you're in qld or nsw and plan on having a dead fish upon arrival!

Hey ya'all,

Im looking at changing my tank from tropical to salt and I have some great fish I'm looking at getting rid of, some of them had to come special order too so its a shame i have to get rid of them.

Below is a list of the niftys on offer....

25cm Black shark

15cm yellow gourami

2 pleco catfish

1 bristlenose catfish

1 golden catfish

3 3barred grunters (amazing fish!)

1 Green terror cichlid

1 Jack Dempsey cichlid

1 Red forest jewel cichlid near 15cm

2 Angel fish, 1 white 1 black

1 Murray cod

The Cichlids have amazing colorings and are only getting better with age. Each running their own coloring and spots

The Grunters are still coloring up as they are only young, 1 is about 10cm and the others are slightly smaller, as they grow they tend to swin and act like sharks and can be aggresive little buggers! As they get older they get an amazaing silver with spots and yellow fins with nice murder fins along the top, it's odd but when they sleep they change to a crazy camo color setup.

The shark is black and is a fair bully but is incredible to watch.

The golden catfish strangely love picking fights with some of the larger and stronger of the fish, its hella sweet to watch!

Any questions please feel free to ask, I can also provide colors as needed

you have africans in the same tank as neo tropical fish?

good luck with the marine set-up, i hope you pay more attention the species requirements.

Mate i've had them all living together for about a year, you can read all you want and people will tell you this cant live with that and so on but at the end of the day i've found fish are like people, each have their own personality. There are no scuffles etc in the tank, they all get along very well.

But hey, thats just my experience from having kept fish for 4 years

Thats the way.. MARINE FTW!!!

Welcome to the marine life :thanks:

Thanks mate Im pretty excited to get into it!

I really want to get rid of the current fish to good homes rather than a fish shop first but we'll see how i go.

Are you in the marine tank world? Any pointers? I've done alot of reading but nothing beats experience

My tips - Let your tank cycle. Dont be in a rush and do a bit of researching before you buy stuff.. Coz its very easy to impulse buy a fish or a coral.

Once you start up your tank give us a shout..

where are you located, mate? how old is he green terror? thx

G'day mate,

Im located in Ballarat, im really looking to get into marine as i said so im willing to work out deals so they go to good homes.

The green terror may be close to a year old, he's only maybe 8cm long, good coloring and very active, he's got balls tho and will even attack the Jack Dempsey so he's hilarious to watch

    • Depends how low and tyre size. Should fit with natural camber, skinny tyres and rolled guards.
    • Hi guys, planning to get 18x9 +25 in fronts and 18x10 +25 in rears been reading the whole thread and cant really find anything   Anyone know if these will fit a r34 gtt with no scrubbing or guard work needed?
    • They usually get made by hand as part of any such swap.
    • Was planning on getting an R35 MAF and the adapter, should this be okay? Also any idea where I could get my hands on an intake pipe?
    • I mean yes, if you're starting from scratch on an unknown engine yes you don't need to be doing all kinds of math in the background but if you're doing relatively minor changes like AFM + injectors + boost up with some aftermarket turbos it takes quite a bit of math if you want to do something like maintain OEM fuel + timing tables but compressed and then a bit more load scale up top. I think I've spent too much time working on big engineering nightmares though so I'm a big fan of trying to constrain the scope of whatever work I'm doing as much as possible and trying to get it right before moving on. For example, a local owner just did the usual E85 + single turbo conversion to his R32 GTR and nearly burned his car to the ground doing some spirited driving up the local mountains. Turbine is unshielded and too close to the hood insulation. It's tough to balance "just get the project done" and "seemingly small details can cause massive setbacks I'm not willing to deal with".
