Pod filter is a good place to start and can easily be done your self. But like was said make sure it is secured properly.

Filter: $100

Air Meter Attachment: $25

Consider just putting a hi flow panel filter into your stock air box.

You have a side mount intercooler already so unless your planning to boost up i dont think it is nessesary for a front mount.

Unless you would like one just for the looks.

I actually thought there would be some sort of benefit to getting a fmic but maybe i dont need one then.. although the temptation for that 'mean' look is certainly there..

thanks for advice

Thanks for the link.. very helpful i have bookmarked it just in case i ever go as far as 'stage 2' =)

Until you mentioned it i hadn't realized there was a place devoted to doing this I'll have to look into it for certain coz i would definitely like to know how to handle my baby. Did you just go the one time or did you go a few times to get the hang of things?

I've been a number of times, it's very useful if you make mods to your car to be able to test out how well they perform in a nice safe environment :) It only costs about $85 for the event, and you get expert tuition from the instructors :)
