Hi there ppl i have brought a ku engineering inlet manifold for my skyline it has the rb20det in which is currently running 402bhp and 375lftb, i brought the manifold to reduce lag and increase performance.

I will be fitting it this weekend and i have come into a tough spot already.

I have checked where all the vacum pipes go looks easy enough and where all the water pipes link up shouldnt be to bad, but what do i do with the aac valve (controls somesort of airflow i thnk) on the back end of the manifold as there is no place for the unit on the ku engineering one ???

Please help if anyone has fitted one or has a how to fit the manifold guide it will be greatly appreciated

Thankyou :D

make sure you check the mounting flange with a straight edge as they crack when bolted up.... i have one here in the shop now if you need any pics...

That would be great help im really confused as how to plumb the aac valve in after or even if it has to be, i read that it affects tick over too

Pics would be really helpful of the build i have found a write up of the rb25det one but obviously they are quite different to rb20det

Im really in need of this info now ppl the car is the garage and stripped.

I need to know wether i can run without the aac im running Apexi power fc too

The ku manifold i a have does not seem to have opening for the valve on the underside

help pics wil be brill

make a plate to bolt to the side of the AAC unit that usually bolts to the manifold

then connect the line that goes 'in' the AAC unit as usual, connect one end of a hose to the new plate and connect the other end of the hose to a nipple on the manifold.

thats how i did mine (im not using the same manifold, just had a similar problem)
