Well, it took me a while but I finally found the INTRODUCTION area.

I have been around Nissans for some time, but I just got my first Skyline recently.

It is a '93 R32 GTS-T with a GT-R front end swap. It is a little rough around the edges, but has lots of potential. While the car is pretty solid it still needs a lot of work just to daily drive it. It has blown rear coilovers and the car is running on Cobra wheels and undersized tires. LOL Regardless, I got this with my eyes wide open. Right now it's no beauty queen, but one day...

Meanwhile, the list below keeps me pretty well entertained.

thats mad, least you have a unique car in Texas, when I was over in the states I saw one burgundy 33gtst within 2 months and visited over 9 states.

what are the laws on skylines over there anyway?, thought only Canada could import r32s

^^ Yeah in Canada it's ok for Skyline.

I believe the USA have quite heavy regulations on emissions / exhaust and I think only the R33 could pass... (Clarification needed)

The R35 looks nice as! I really like the White colour and Black wheels as it looks great.

The R32 looks bad as with the front end conversion and Matt black paint job.

Since all the broohaha about how the Skylines here were not "legally" imported, everyone who has one is running scared.

Meanwhile, the car is a diamond in the rough. It only needs a little TLC to bring it back to its original glory. Any thoughts/tips would be greatly appreciated. Once I nail down a replacement suspension, I am going to throw on some Longchamp XRVs 17x8/17x9 on there which should accent the metallic black paint...at least on the rear of the car. After that, the engine will be pulled, along with the trim and everything else and it will be sent out for a fresh coat of Black Metallic Pearl. While that is being done, I will rebuild the engine to ensure that everything is good to go. Finally, I will freshen the entire interior. Along my journey I am sure that I will add here and delete there...just like any other worthwhile project.
