need quick help here , i need to check the operating condition of my coils , are they fkd is wat i want to know, how do i go about properly checking them with multimeter etc , and whats the process to doing so ..

step by step ???

you can often see issues with them just by looking at them. look for signs of melting

My guess: Coils are just coils of wire inside so the DC resistance should be pretty similar on all of them. If you find one with a lower resistance, it probably means that the insulation on the wire has broken down and electricity is flowing between some of the loops rather than through them all. If you find higher resistance on one, there's probably a contact problem. The former problem is probably not fixable, the second may be.

yeah it is something like that. i saw someone talking about testing it with a multimeter the other day in a thread but have no idea where it was.
