ahh k thanks heaps mate, yeh i heard stock psi was 8, one other thing, sorry for stupid questions btw, my boost controller reads in % does this mean its a % of the stock psi ? so if i set it to 20% its 8 psi + (20% of 8) ? so id be running at 9.6 psi?

My stock gauge reads roughly 5psi low boost and 7psi hi boost.

Around 12psi the ecu should throw r&r, many people have run the stock turbo at many different settings, personally I'd keep it around 10-12psi.

Some people run 14psi+ with no troubles, all depends how you car was treated in a past life and how lucky you are, factor in how long you want the stock turbo to last and you'll come up with your own figure.
