I bought some pods (with the adapter plates) for my gtr last week, is it just a case of removing all the factory airbox and fitting up the pods, or is it a little more work then im thinking?

I know I wont get a full gain from them until I get a cold air setup, which will get done soon but i figure seein as I have them here I may aswell put em on...

Question: has anyone here done this themselves?

Is there an easy way to get the bottom afm facing upwards off? I can feel the screws on the back, but theres no way theres any tools going in there, the airbox and intercooler plumbing takes up basically all the space, I can barely touch em with my fingers, it seems there no chance of getting any tools in there...

any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I dont feel like putting it all back together after this time

I fitted my Apexi Power Intake pods - peice of cake.

Just undo the clamp holding the each afm into the rubber intake tubing and slide the entire airbox/afm assembly out - then detach the afm's from the standard airbox and bolt onto your new pods

Easy work - just takes a bit of fidling around.
