i want to replace the O2 censor on my rb20, but it is far too tight, quite possible fused in there. i cant really get a larger shifter in there to get more leaverage, cos i dont have the space. does anyone have any tips or tricks that may help get it undone. i tried wd40 and carby cleaner on the fitting, but didnt really help. cheers adam

The best stuff for loosening those kinda things is this old school stuff called 'Penetrene'. If you can heat up the dump (but not the o2 sensor) with flame heat, it might be enough to release it.. I'm not expert in these matters though

the dump pipe is heat wrapped, so heating it up independently may be a bit hard, and ive tried it hot and cold.

as for removing the front pipe, that was all i could think of doing too, but i know that could turn into a bastard of a job, considering how long it took me to install the f**ker. cheers lads

you could always buy a proper o2 sensor revmoving tool and then it will come out rather easily

where can i pick one up? thats the socket that has a split partially up one side?
