Strange noises?

Me and a mate have been looking at some skylines lately, ive got a lot of friends hooked on 33s

The one in question, a 95 R33 GTST manual.

Basically there are 2 sounds,

One is a constant clicking.. sounds like one of them electric lighters being clicked really fast.. noise is coming from the plenum .. where the throttle cable ends on that thingy with the spring.. throttle body? it sound like its under this bit though.

All r33s have this noise but most are very light, this one seems a bit louder.

The second noise is after it warms up a bit, we drove it for a few minutes, then stopped and browsed the engine bay... it sounds like a quite psssss like something is leaking .. i cant see or find anything though, so its got me stumped.. the sound is coming from almost exacly the same place as the clicking noise.

There not major noises but but being to cautious when buying a car can save you big money in the end

Ideas anyone?

Clicking noises....fuel injectors maybe.

Injectors? ok cool, spose we can get them checked, cleaned and seals replaced

clicking is propbably just the lifters getting old

as for the pssss im pretty sure my car does that too, ive been to ice performaqnce heaps and they said my engine sounds as normal as possible so i wouldnt worry unless u cna notice something wrong whilst fanging it ie. not hitting boost etc

will investigate by eye a little more, car is great though so aslong as engine is good its a sale

what do you mean by lifters too.. top of pistons.. valves?

wouldn't worry about it at all, the ticking is most definately the injectors just doing their job as for the pssss all skylines do it buggered if i know what it is though
